Why Volunteer at FDC?
Volunteers play an essential role in helping us inspire curiosity every day. You’ll support exhibits, assist at community events, and help visitors of all ages explore the wonders of science, all while gaining new skills and experiences.
Hours are flexible and training is provided.
Volunteer Opportunities
Special Events
Help welcome guests, set up and take down booths, or assist with family-friendly activities during Tricks & Treats, EggFest, and fundraisers.
Animal Care Support
Work alongside staff to help care for and learn about our live animal ambassadors, from reptiles to rabbits.
Admin Assistance
Help with office tasks, organization, and behind-the-scenes work that keeps Fresno Discovery Center running smoothly.
